            Also, I will hold class on March 24th to make up for the snow day
            cancellation of last week's class. Please check the "Calendar" page
            for the schedule of classes, revisions shown in red.
 
2-27-05 The class this Thursday March 3 will have these changes.
            1) We will meet in Training Room F from 5:30-6:30.
                Another PSU class will conduct a survey of our class. They will provide refreshments.
            2) I'll take some of the remaining class time in Room G to review the Access exam.
            3) You need to do the 1st project in Word (called Project 4) on your own
                before class so you may ask me questions. I'll only skim the highlights with you.

            and print the 2 pages when you log off this website.

1-20-05 PICK A DATE  TO PRESENT YOUR POWERPOINT PROJECT

     BY NEXT CLASS – 1/27/05

Present your PowerPoint topic for approval and include:

TOPIC DESCRIPTION (one sentence)

2 to 4 TOPICS YOU WILL USE IN OUTLINE FORM
(There will be several slides for each topic)

 

OPTIONAL – SUB-TOPICS UNDER ONE OR MORE TOPICS

(Use when a topic has too many slides to be perfectly clear)
(There will probably be several slides for each sub-topic)

 
For Opening Day You should review / familiarize yourself with sections in the secondary text (from MIS 103) on Word, Excel, and Access.
   We will begin with PowerPoint from this text (so be sure to bring the MIS 103 and MIS 104 books to class) and continue into PowerPoint from the primary text.
   Following PowerPoint comes Access. We'll do project 3 from the secondary text as a review. At this point, we are done with the MIS 103 text.
